MAGDALENE’S POV

“Mum are you seriously leaving me with them?”

Mum took the last drag from her cigarette and crushed it beneath her heel. “Moses is finally taking me out, are you suggesting I take you along?”

An ache stabbed through my head immediately. “Mum I can’t survive!!” I pleaded. “Those guys are scary. I can’t even survive a day with them. Can’t I stay at some guesthouse?”

She rolled her eyes, obviously frustrated. “Marg don’t question me! It’s our first honeymoon after marriage, and this is the best time to get used to your brothers! For how long will you avoid them!?”
