His Secret Temptation

Growing up wasn't easy for me one bit.

If there was anything I ever learned It was "Work hard so I could run away, live a good life and stay far away from this mess of the home.

I have a job at a bakery which doesn't really pay quite well. I just survive from paycheck to paycheck, no savings .

Until one day, Clara told me about this gig

"Have you heard of the bar down the lane?" Clara asked as we do swept the bakery together.

"I'm not going clubbing with you." I chipped in before Clara would ask and make a cute face.

"Nahh.... Not that. They're hiring waitresses to help serve drinks for a night. Their regular customers are tired of seeing the same face."

"I've got a job, Clara. Besides working shifts every night is exhausting, I won't have time for myself at all."

"It's just for a night and the pay is...." Clara motioned for me to come closer and I did. "$500 per night."

I gasped. "That's a lot. Just for a night?"

‎I walked into the bar, my mind fixed on working because here "THE MORE YOU SERVE,THE MORE YOU EARN" that was the main rule here according to the manager.

‎I was assigned to serve the VIPs tonight, I guess I was exceptionally lucky today. I adjusted my miniskirt, mustered some courage and walked into the VIP room, with the bottle of champagne and ice.

‎Immediately I walked in, I locked eyes with Mr Salvatore who was covered in a cloud of smoke, I suddenly remembered Ivy's words. Mr Salvatore is a young ruthless Mafia kingpin who is cold and calculating.

‎I plastered a smile on my face and straightened my back, determined to make money tonight, I told myself tonight that he wasn't different from other guests, just serve him and leave.
