Finding Love With Someone Else
Synopsis of Finding Love With Someone Else
Chapter 1
When I discover that Shawn Felton has kept a mistress for the past three years and even intends to throw her a wedding, I decide to leave him. I'm going home to marry the man my family has picked for me.
On the first day, I give the ring Shawn got me to his mistress.
On the second day, I throw away everything and anything that has to do with me.
On the third day, I put on a wedding dress and marry Shawn's nemesis.
From now on, Shawn and I will have nothing to do with each other.
Shawn is unfazed originally. He thinks I'm just throwing a tantrum.
He only panics when he sees the news of me marrying someone else.
In the office, neither of them noticed my presence outside the door.
I poured out the soup I had made for Shawn Felton and turned to leave.
Shawn always kissed me carefully, so I had never seen him kiss so passionately. Only now did I realize that it was because he only showed that side of himself to someone else.
I'd once believed that I could marry for love, but instead, reality dealt me a heavy blow.
Disappointed, I wiped away my tears and took a cab back to the villa.
As soon as I stepped out of the car, I received a few unfamiliar messages—they were from Olivia Thompson.
"I'm sure you've heard that Mr. Felton is planning a wedding for me that's even more extravagant than yours."
My heart sank as I read the message.
Shawn had once promised that he would only step into the wedding hall with me in this lifetime. However, the wedding we'd both been looking forward to had become nothing more than a tool to dote on Olivia.
Upon noticing that I didn't reply to her messages, Olivia sent me several more photos. In them, she and Shawn were intimately entwined.
"Has he ever loved you like this?" she asked.
I gave a bitter smile but didn't respond. Then, I saved the conversation and turned to head inside the villa.
Less than half an hour after arriving home, Shawn showed up with a large bouquet of roses. The fragrance of the roses was rich, but I could still smell the unique sweet scent on him.
His body had once carried only my scent, but now, I clearly knew that the scent on him was no longer mine.
I pushed him away, and for a moment, Shawn was surprised. But very quickly, he put on his usual expression.
He kissed the corner of my mouth—as if he were soothing a child—and gently coaxed me for a long time.
Whenever he had upset me in the past, he would do the same, and I would always soften and forgive him after just a few words of comfort. However, I didn't want to forgive him this time.
Upon seeing that I wasn't responding, Shawn took out a red velvet box from his coat
