I ran as far as my legs could take me into the woods without looking back.

"Get her!. Don't let that witch escape!" Alpha Beckett, one of my pursers shouted behind me hot on his heels as he leads his armies of Pack warriors after me.

I could barely make out where I was going as it was dark and my senses were all a blur as the only thing that mattered to me right now was to survive the night.

"Fuck!" I cried, tripping over a sharp, metal trap that caught my right leg. Placing my hands over my mouth to silence my cries, I tried to free my leg from the metal trap but it wouldn't budge.
