Chapter 4
“Are you alright, Nessa?” Josh looked at Vanessa worriedly.
Vanessa looked at the blood and yelled, “I didn’t think you were so heartless, Redmond! Break his legs!”
At that, Josh looked at me. His eyes flashed with a slight frenzy.
He got into the car, and he had the bodyguards position me with my legs in front of the tire.
“You’re dead, Redmond!” he yelled as he hit the gas pedal.
“You’re too kind, Vanessa. The Day family is nothing now. He injured you, so I want his whole family to pay for it!”
Lying on the ground, I panted hard. The car was getting close to me, and I could feel the pain of the tire pressing down on me.
“You’d better stop now, Vanessa! If you do, you can still get out of this!”
Josh looked at Vanessa and said, “You shouldn’t be merciful to this sort of person, Nessa!”
Vanessa shot me a vicious look. She gritted out, “You’re nothing but a beast, Redmond!”
After she said this, Josh released the handbrake, and the car rolled ruthlessly right over my legs.
I heard my bones shatter.
Before I could even scream, Josh reversed the car and drove it over my legs again.
Vanessa smirked as she watched.
My cries rang out through the parking lot.
Josh’s voice came over the sound of the car’s engine.
“You asked for this, Redmond!”
I wanted to escape, but the bodyguards were still holding me down, and I could barely move.
The car rolled over my legs again and again.
I watched as my legs became nothing but a bloody pulp.
Suddenly, an SUV crashed through the wire fence and forced Josh’s car to a stop.
“How dare you interfere!” Josh yelled as he got out of the car and rushed the other car.
The door of the other car opened, and a team of muscular bodyguards rushed out. They pinned Josh to the ground.
“What are you doing? This is the Whitecastle family’s territory! You can’t just barge in here!”
I looked over to find that they were my family’s bodyguards.
Coldly, I ordered, “I want the Whitecastle family to disappear from Genera in half an hour!”
