Chapter 2

I quickly regained my composure, reaching out to help her into a sitting position. Then, with concern, I asked, "Are you alright?"

Tessa pouted and replied, "It hurts so much. I don't know what you men are made of, but you feel as hard as a rock..."

I pretended not to hear her comment. "Glad you're okay. Let's get up."

Just as I finished speaking, the driver abruptly stopped again, as if it were some sort of prank.

Tessa had only started to stand, using me for support, when her heel slipped again. She toppled forward, her bright red lips inches from mine, creating an undeniable tension.

Her soft hands rested on my upper body, and she stared at me intently.

"Gorgeous, your face is so red. Are you so shy?" she murmured, inching closer.

As her lips neared mine, I found myself wanting to close the gap. However, my phone suddenly rang just before we kissed, displaying the word—Girlfriend—on the screen.

Startled, I quickly moved back and answered, "Hey, babe. No, I haven't gone far. I was just taking some photos upstairs. I'll be down in a sec…"

After hanging up, I cleared my throat awkwardly. "My girlfriend's awake and waiting for me. I should head down. Take care."

Tessa looked at me with a lingering gaze as I left, her eyes following me all the way down.

I checked myself quickly and adjusted my jacket to avoid raising any suspicion with Sophie. She was awake, scrolling on her phone, and looked up as I approached.

"Where were you? Took forever to take some photos," she remarked casually.

"I just went up for a little fresh air and a look at the scenery," I replied, pulling her close and kissing her cheek.

Sophie pouted playfully. "Hmph, I thought you might've been chatting up some other girl."

I quickly looked away. "What are you talking about?"

She pointed out someone nearby. "Look over there. That girl is a knockout, right?"

Following her gaze, I saw Tessa strolling down the aisle in her high heels.

"Stop with the nonsense," I said, closing the curtain around us. As Tessa walked past, her scent lingered in the air. Remembering the softness of her body against mine, I felt a slight pang of nervousness.

"I'll be right back. Just need to use the restroom before we get off the bus," I said as I stood up. Sophie nodded in acknowledgment.

Exiting the compartment, I deliberately slowed my pace.

Then, as I passed by a small door, it suddenly opened a crack. Tessa's pale hand reached out, pulling me inside before I could react.

She had kicked off her heels and, with her toes wrapped in sheer black stockings, nudged the door closed. I stumbled back onto a small bed.

She stood there, arms crossed, watching me, then moved closer, trailing those long legs I had been admiring over my thighs.

"What are you doing? This bus is full of tourists!" I whispered urgently, struggling to restrain my reaction.

That girl was way too daring!

Tessa bit her lip with a teasing smile. "No one's watching. They're all resting. I've checked. What are you afraid of? Your heart's racing…"

She did not hold back, her hands moving over me, igniting a heat that was hard to control.

I tightened my body, trying to resist, knowing Sophie was just next door. If she heard any noise…

Tessa leaned in and whispered into my ear, "I can't bear to be without you… Are you really just going to leave me?" Her hand guided mine to trace the curves of her body.

The smoothness of her skin under my touch left me breathless. Sophie's words echoed in my mind. Tessa's beauty was truly a one-of-a-kind…

She whispered with a hint of longing, "See you tonight, love."
