Chapter 9
Alpha Gorge lunged forward.
"Who gave you the right to marry someone else?" he growled.
"Who are you again? We're done, remember?"
His eyes turned to Alpha Mike. "That thing? A cripple? "
Before I could respond, Alpha Mike's calm face now hard as ston.
"You must be the infamous Alpha Gorge," his tone dripping with sarcasm.
"But your reputation doesn't quite match your actions, Who would've thought the mighty Alpha Gorge would crash a wedding to steal a bride?!"
The room erupted into laughter.
" More like a joke, a damn fool!" one of the guests sneered.
"Is he out of his mind?"
The laughter only grew louder, the elites of the Packs enjoying the show at Alpha Gorge's expense.
But Alpha Gorge, furious, seethed silently.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a thick stack of photos, his gaze locked onto me.
"Selina," he growled.
"Three years... These are all the photos of our time together, the good times. You think I don't know? You were crazy about me. Now you run off and marry Mike without a word-was it all to make me beg for you back? To make me come here and plead?"
"Do you know today was supposed to be my wedding with Amelia?" Alpha Gorge's voice cracked.
"But the moment I held her hand, I realized the bride I've been dreaming of wasn't her. It was you! I waited, hoping you'd suddenly appear, give me a surprise.But you didn't show up!"
For the first time, Alpha Gorge spoke to me with such sincerity.
I admit, if he had said this earlier, I might have fallen for it. I might have returned to him, like a loyal dog.
But now, it was too late. I had sacrificed three years of my dignity and freedom.
At this moment, I looked at Alpha Gorge with a cold, unreadable gaze.
"Alpha Gorge, weren't you the one who called me filthy, worldly, and unworthy of you? Now you're running back here, slapping your own face. Don't you feel embarrassed?"
"I've chosen a new path in life, and so have you with Amelia. Please, don't interfere with me anymore."
Just as Alpha Gorge opened his mouth, the doors to the hall slammed open. A bride in a wedding dress rushed in, her voice sharp and desperate.
"Alpha Gorge! You promised me as your luna! You can't marry another woman!"
